Hi, welcome to my project page. I'm currently a first-year graduate student at EECS department. I'm very interested in understanding human-level intelligence.  Specifically, I want to know the natural and general representation and transformation of the information in a human brain. Towards this ambitious goal, I'm now working with Prof. Kurt Keutzer and Prof. Bruno Olshausen. 



Currently, I'm focusing on spare coding of natural images and movies. I believe this is one of the most promising approaches guide us to crack 'strong' intelligence. But my interests are not limited to this specific topic. After all, I'm open to a wide spectrum  of ideas which are related to intelligence like Bayesian inference, neural circuit simulation, information theory, cognitive computation, brain imaging and so.
